青森で生まれた区限刺繍に魅了され、ここ数年一心に制作を続けてまいりました。著書「COUNTED SASHIKO EMBROIDERY」に掲載されています全作品をご覧いただけます。あまり知られていない日本の区限刺繍の世界をこの機会にご紹介できればと思っております。
今回は「青森で生まれた二つの刺し子 -津軽こぎんと南部菱刺し」と題したトークイベントと、青森の郷土菓子などをご用意いたします。また、今回は著者直接販売の特典としまして、ご希望の方には第１章部分の日本語訳をお付けいたします。
飛騨の自然と民藝の器に囲まれたたいへん居心地のいい空間で、皆さまと和やかな時間をご一緒できますことを願っております。どうぞお気軽にお立ち寄りください。

I will hold an exhibition of The Counted Embroidery of Aomori to celebrate the publication day of my new book on July 28th.
Date: July 28 to August 1, 2023
Time: 1 to 5pm. , last day 1 to 4pm.
Place: Yawaiya Gallery, located in Gifu-ken, Takayama-shi, Kokufu-cho
I am so fascinated with the counted embroidery of Aomori, that I have been making it single-mindedly for the last several years.
All of the projects featured in my book Counted Sashiko Embroidery will be on display. I hope that this will be an opportunity to introduce you to the little-known world of Japanese counted embroidery.
